Who Do I Talk To at Houston Properties Team?
Updated
Bottom line: Sibel Caliskanlar Cope, the team's director. Every booking button on this site reaches her calendar and every join form lands with her, except broker owners and team leaders, who talk to Bob Martin. The first call is twenty minutes.
Who is Sibel?
Sibel Caliskanlar Cope is the director of Houston Properties Team. She runs the conversation an agent has before joining, from the first call through the agreement read together, and she is the name on the notification when a form on this site is submitted. Her full profile is on the team's main site: Sibel's full profile.
She is not a recruiter in the sense the word has come to mean. The team publishes its figures on this site so that the call can be about yours.
What happens on the first call?
Twenty minutes, booked through any button on this site. Sibel asks three things: your last twelve months, meaning closings, volume and where the business came from; two ordinary weeks of your calendar, so the team can say which half of it a success team would take; and what you want the next year to look like, in your words.
Then the arithmetic, on your figures: what you keep now on what you sell now, against a share of what members sell with appointments booked for them. If the numbers do not favour joining, she says so on the call.
What should I bring?
Your last twelve months as a list rather than a feeling: closings, sides, volume, and the source of each. Your calendar for any two weeks that were not unusual. And the question you would not ask a team you were interviewing, because that is usually the one that decides it.
Nothing has to be signed, sent or decided before the call, and nothing on it commits you to anything after it.
What if I own a brokerage or lead a team?
Then the conversation is a different one and it is with Bob Martin, who leads Houston Properties Team. Succession, folding a team in, or stepping back from a brokerage you own are owner and leader questions, and the talk page on this site puts both doors side by side.
The form works the same way: a submission from a broker owner or a team leader goes to Bob rather than to Sibel.
Questions & answers
What else do Houston agents ask?
Who answers the join form at Houston Properties Team?
Sibel Caliskanlar Cope, the team's director. A submission from this site lands with her, and every booking button reaches her calendar. The exception is a broker owner or a team leader, whose submission goes to Bob Martin instead, because succession and folding a team in are his conversation rather than hers.
The form says so as you fill it in: choose broker owners or team leaders as your situation and a line appears under it naming where it goes. Either way a real person reads it, and the notification carries your name, your number and the page you were on.
What happens on the first call with Houston Properties Team?
Twenty minutes with Sibel Caliskanlar Cope. She asks for your last twelve months, two ordinary weeks of your calendar, and what you want the next year to look like. Then the arithmetic on your figures: what you keep now against a share of what members keep with appointments booked for them.
If the numbers do not favour joining, she says so on the call, and that is the end of it with nobody worse off. If they do, the next step is the membership agreement read together, section by section, which the page on how joining works sets out in order.
What should I bring to the first call?
Your last twelve months as a list: closings, sides, volume, and where each one came from. Any two weeks of your calendar that were not unusual. And the question you would not ask a team you were interviewing, which is usually the one that decides it. Houston Properties Team asks for nothing signed beforehand.
The list matters more than the total, because the source of each closing is what the separation policy in the agreement turns on, and reading that policy against your own names is the only way to know what it means for you.
