Who is Houston Properties Team?

We started houstonproperties.com in 2002, five years after search engines learned to rank pages. We were two agents with a website and a bet: if we wrote the most useful pages about Houston neighborhoods, the people reading them would call us. They did. In twenty-four years we never made a cold call, never bought a list, never paid a portal for a lead. Every client found us.

That head start became a team. Agents joined because the phone rang, and we built what a phone that rings requires: a success team behind every agent, a listing process, a follow-up system, weekly coaching, and a culture we could write down in five words: Accountable, Care, Coachable, Knowledge, Transparency. 3,000+ families and more than $2 billion of Houston real estate later, the team is the largest in Houston by volume (RealTrends Verified 2026).

In 2026 we changed two things. We moved the team to Real Brokerage, because we wanted a platform where the brokerage, the team and the agent all make money the same way. And we rebuilt our sites for the way buyers ask now, which is a question typed in plain words and answered in one line, so that when someone asks who to call in a Houston neighborhood, the answer is one of us.

We run this team the way we would want to be run. The leads come to the team, not to a person. The systems run whether we are in the office or on a plane. Paige is stepping back from production; Holly, Kim and Aaron are stepping in. Bob is on a five-year plan. The point was never to build a team that needs us. It was to build one that does not.
