What a Sponsor Who Knows AI Takes Off Your Week
Updated
Bottom line: Ask a sponsor what comes off your week. On Houston Properties Team, three of its eighteen Claude skills take scrolling for a reason to call, the night-before research and typing up meeting notes, and the conversation with your client stays with you.
Why ask a sponsor what comes off your week?
Most agents we talk to want hours back, and that is the only test we use for a tool.
Tech that adds work is one of the reasons agents leave. In Mike DelPrete's interviews with producing agents who had recently left a brokerage, one said a brokerage platform "felt like a full-time job" (mikedp.com, August 2025). Agents have also already picked their own tools: 71% of agents answering a survey of Inman readers use their own AI tools more often than their brokerage's, and 10% use their brokerage's most often (Inman Intel, May 2026). So ask a sponsor what comes off your week.
The rule on our team is simple. A tool has to take a job off somebody's week rather than add another place to log in.
What comes off your week?
Scrolling for a reason to call. Reasons to Call: paste what your people posted, and get back who to call today, why, and the first line.
The night-before research. Appointment Brief: a name, an address or a text thread in; a one-page brief on who you are meeting and what they care about out.
Typing up meeting notes. Daily Huddle Recap turns photos of handwritten huddle notes into a clean recap by person.
The full list, eighteen Claude skills and what each one removes, is on the team's AI tools page.
Real already gives every agent reZEN, Leo AI and Real Wallet. They take the paper chase, the wait for a brokerage answer and the trip to the bank off your week. What a sponsor adds sits on top of that.
How have agents on our team used Claude?
Yolanda Ames was one of several agents pitching the same seller, and he told all of them he'd decide in 48 hours. So she asked herself what the others would skip. The night before, she had Claude research him. When he mentioned he had moved 25 times, she knew the job behind every move and asked about it. Claude also turned his own numbers into a sharper presentation, and she toured the homes he'd be competing with. He called her back in two hours, not 48. AI didn't win the listing. It made sure she walked in having done all of it, every time.
Adrian Bidulescu was brand new, still working his first career as a principal. The listing was a half-million-dollar-plus home in Galveston, and he was up against agents who had been in that market longer than he'd been in the business. The sellers were an 80-year-old couple, with their son helping them decide. Adrian couldn't out-experience anyone, so he out-prepared them. He ran the Five Star Meeting Checklist before the appointment and used Claude to pull the market data together, so every answer was in his hand before he knocked. He won the listing on preparation.
Holly Hernandez and Emily Kung had two closings that could have fallen apart in the option period. Their sellers were careful, detail-minded people who got nervous when news came in pieces. So before the buyers asked for anything, Holly used Claude to put every number and repair item on one page her sellers could read on a phone, and even run past their own AI. But the real test came when the buyers' ask landed. Holly and Emily didn't jump to strategy. They set aside time and let their sellers be upset first. Then they walked through the numbers. Both deals closed.
What stays on your plate?
The conversation with your client. No tool takes that, and none should.
The call itself. Reasons to Call tells you who and why. You pick up the phone.
The decisions: the price, the strategy, and the thing a seller does not want to hear.
How do you get the skills?
Sixteen of the eighteen skills are free at realedgenetwork.com. Members download and install them, anyone else leaves a name and an email and gets the file, and every skill's page has a version you can paste into a chat and try in five minutes. Start with AI Back Office Setup.
If you want to see which skill would take the most off your week, bring the task that eats most of it to a call with Sibel Caliskanlar Cope, our Concierge Director.

Questions & answers
What do Houston agents ask about this?
What should I ask a Real Brokerage sponsor about AI?
Ask what the sponsor's tools take off your week. Most agents already have tools of their own: 71% of agents answering a survey of Inman readers use their own AI tools more often than their brokerage's (Inman Intel, May 2026). A usable answer names the job that goes away and how long the tool takes to set up.
On Houston Properties Team the answer is eighteen Claude skills the team built and gives away, and each one exists to remove a task an agent used to do by hand. A skill is a file you drop into Claude once, and after that Claude does the job the same way every time. Before the team builds one, it has to pass one test: taking a job off somebody's week rather than adding another place to log in. All eighteen, and the job each one removes, are on the team's AI tools page.
What does Real Brokerage give every agent, whoever the sponsor is?
Three tools. reZEN is Real's transaction platform, where the file, the tasks, the signatures and the commission disbursement live in one place on your phone. Leo AI is Real's assistant inside reZEN, for transaction and brokerage questions. Real Wallet gives commission access and a business account tied to your production (Real Brokerage, September 2026).
They come with the brokerage rather than with a sponsor, so every agent at Real has them. Between them they take the paper chase, the wait for an answer on a transaction or brokerage question, and the trip to the bank between closing and payout off an agent's week. What a sponsor adds sits on top of those three. On Houston Properties Team, that is the team's own Claude skills.
What stays with me when AI tools take work off my week?
The conversation with your client, the call itself and the decisions. Reasons to Call tells you who to call today and why, and you pick up the phone. The price, the strategy and the thing a seller does not want to hear stay yours to decide. No tool takes the conversation with your client, and none should.
The rest of Houston Properties Team works the same way. Six success team functions cover the work around a file, and what comes off an agent is the work behind the conversation, never the conversation itself. You stay the person your client talks to, whichever part of the team is carrying the file behind you.
